Relay for Life kicks off today at the Last Drop

The 2010 Relay for Life campaign kicks off today, April 28, with a party at the Last Drop and everyone is invited.

Cancer survivors, teams and just plain enthusiasts for this community event, which will be held at Centennial Park on June 13 this year, are invited to mingle and remember the good times from past Relays at the Last Drop between 5 and 7 pm.

If you’d like to register for this year’s Relay for Life, please contact Lindy Silano at lindy_silano@yahoo.ca. You can also register online at www.cancer.ca/relay.

In the meantime here are some scenes from last year’s Relay for Life that we hope you’ll enjoy:

The Relay for Life is as much about children as it is anything else. Beating the scourge of cancer would be a tremendous legacy to our children and grandchildren. Image courtesy of the Relay for Life
Camaraderie and good times are hallmarks of this significant community event. You, too, can make a difference. Image courtesy of the Relay for Life
