On September 21, some local teens marked international Playing for Change Day by having an informal acoustic jam at the library. The Playing for Change foundation is committed to promoting peace through music, and celebrates diversity by bringing musicians from all over the world together.

The library is looking forward to hosting more Saturday afternoon teen jam sessions in the future.
