The City of Revelstoke is currently seeking members for commission and committees noted below and invite applications from interested parties. Commission and committee members are volunteers selected for their interest, experience, knowledge, skills and ability to represent the population of the area.

Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee
The purpose of the committee is to act as an advisory committee to Council on matters pertaining to the development of Parks, Recreation and Culture in Revelstoke.
The available positions consist of 3 public at large positions (1-Area B rural and 2-City of Revelstoke) and 3 resource positions that may represent community sports, recreation, community user groups or service clubs.

Public Art Committee
The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and suggestions to the City of Revelstoke with respect to appropriate public art projects for the City to consider.

The purpose of the Commission is to provide advice and suggestions to the City of Revelstoke and the CSRD Area ‘B’ Regional Director with respect to promoting economic growth and stability in the Revelstoke area.

The purpose of the Committee is to promote open communication and an active working partnership between the City of Revelstoke, Interior Health, local organizations, and the citizens of Revelstoke to ensure the health care needs of all residents and tourists are addressed as fully as possible.
