A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 23 South, about three kilometres from Shelter Bay brought out both the RCMP and the Fire Rescue Service to extract the driver, who was trapped inside his GMC pickup.
RCMP Cpl. Thomas Blakney said in a statement that the vehicle was southbound when it off the roadway and rolled into the west-side ditch.
Although the man’s injuries were not considered life-threatening he was flown by air ambulance to hospital in Nakusp.
