It’s Christmas and everywhere you go there are wreathes, holly, candles, angles, snowflakes and other seasonal symbols. There are also plenty of Santa Clauses but so far, there is only one Mr. Grinch and he made an appearance at the Modern Bakery early Friday morning with close friend Arrow Heights Elementary teacher Laurel Russell.
“Hi David!” she said in an e-mail to The Revelstoke Current. “I was in the Modern Cafe this morning with my pal, Mr. Grinch. He created quite a sensation and a few photos. I thought you might enjoy them… I got everyone’s permission to send them to you! Laurel :)”
And here, without any further ado, are Laurel’t photos:
Who knew The Grinch was politically connected? Here he is hanging out with Whoville Mayor — uh better make that Revelstoke Mayor — David Raven.
