The Revelstoke Skating Club put its best blades forward on Thursday as it held its annual holiday event, entitled this year as the Christmas Show Off Event.
All of the young skaters played a part in this performance starting withe KiDSKATE Group’s A Night Before Christmas featuring Mia Musseau, Mackenzie Bull, Avery Cochrane, Hunter Fuoco, Kurtis Kinoshita, Donald Robichaud, David Yoon, Nathan Lavine and Kiara Donato. They were assisted by Senior STARSkaters Natasha Rogers, Erin Behncke, Deani Mostert, Jacqueline Cottingham, Megan Cottingham, Robin Fraser, Clara Suchy, Marisa Sessa and Marison Barton.
The JUNIOR Group of Alyssa Peluso, Chloe Speerbrecker and Alexis Templeton performed My Only Wish This Year, while the PRE-JUNIOR group of Jaime Reynolds, Alexandra Robertson and Hannah Winger performed Santa Claus is Coming to Town and the CANSKATE Group of Sydney Musseau, Mercedes Loepky, Jalle Simpson, Karlie Beattie, Hope Tiychelaar, Samantha Veninsky, Zach Veninsky and Andie Reynolds performed A Holly Jolly Christmas.
There were also solo skating exhibitions by Paige McKenzie, Natasha Rogers, Alexi Mostert, Deani Mostert, Clara Suchy, Erin Behncke, Jacqueline Cottingham, Krystal Kinoshita, Madison Barton, Megan Cottingham, Marisa Sessa and Ron Fraser.
As a finale, all of the club’s young skaters joined together for We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
