RSS Senior Jazz Band really was good at the Last Drop
The RSS Senior Jazz Band packed 'em in at the Last Drop when they played for an hour on Wednesday evening. The young musicians, led by instructor and conductor Tessa Davis, played exceptionally well to a standing-room-only crowd. The same cannot be said for the photographer who inadvertently hit a switch on the lens of his Nikon camera changing it from autofocus to manual focus. Of the 19 photos I took, this was the only one that was even marginally usable. Ah, where would we be without human error? It certainly doesn't do the kids justice, but it does give you some idea of what the scene was like. Boy, were they ever good. David F. Rooney photo
