The North Columbia Environmental Society is building Earth Day Time Capsules! Students are invited to join NCES volunteers at the Workers Memorial inukshuk in Centennial Park at 3:30 pm on Monday, April 22.
We’ll take a nature walk around the Columbia River, and then fill our capsule with thoughts, plans, memories, and wishes for the future,” NCES Pesident Sarah Newton said in an e-mail to The Current. “All supplies will be provided.
“This event is weather-dependent. Stormy, rainy weather means don’t come out.”
