Woman homesteader, artist and author Chris Czajkowski will conduct a slideshow based on her book A Mountain Year at the Revelstoke Public Library on Wednesday.
Czajkowski moved into BC’s Central Coast Mountains in 1988 to build a homestead, a business, and a life. A Mountain Year is her illustrated journal describing the splendour of seasonal transformation in BC’s high-altitude wilderness.
“Chris shares private thoughts and paintings inspired by BC’s natural beauty,” says Joan Holzer,head librarian for the Okanagan Regional Library’s Revelstoke branch.
The events starts at 7 pm and is free to the public. Chris Czajkowski’s talk is co-hosted by her publisher, Harbour Press.
