Every year Revelstoke’s Team Gloria stages some magnificent parties to raise money for local charities. Their Halloween Spooktacular was held on Saturday evening and — well you had to be there to appreciate all of the hard work that went into it by organizers as well as the great costumes created by fun-loving local residents.
It’s not just for fun, of course. Team Gloria stages parties like this or its annual Beach Party (it also participates in other community events) to raise money for cancer research and related causes in memory of cancer victims Glora Murray, Ruth Barry, Lorel Davis, Ed Deverall, Peggy Gould and Nancy Archambault.
