A Salmon Arm man is probably rueing the day he came to Revelstoke after someone used a bolt cutter to snap the lock off his $3,000 mountain bike which had been on his vehicle roof rack.
According to the local RCMP detachment the theft occurred last Friday between 8 and 9:30 pm near the Woolsey Creek Restaurant.
“The bike is described as a men’s specialized Enduro mountain bike, black and red in colour with a value of $3,000,” said statement released Tuesday by the detahcment. “The victim of this theft had come to Revelstoke specifically to mountain bike the following day.”
