Twenty-five years! That’s a true milestone by anyone’s calculation and the Revelstoke Glacier Challenge knows how to mark that anniversary in true Revelstoke style — with an amazing 25th Anniversary Prize Package.
The $6,000 prize, which will go to some lucky team that has registered to play in this year’s tournament, will ensure that the winners not only have a great summer ball experience, but a fantastic winter, too., by giving the entire team of up to 14 people a weekend’s accommodation and free skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
That’s bound to make this a memorable year for the community’s signature summer event.

If you’ve never heard them before you’ll love local bands Maritimne Kitchen Party and Blindspot.
With lead guitarist Steve Smith a Maritimer born and bred it’s no wonder MKP carries such an East Coast kind of name. But drummer Trevor Wallach and bass guitarist Shannon O’Neil give it Western roots, too. Their one-of-kind take on East Coast Music will delight you.
Blindspot will really get you rocking! Drummer Leslie Wilkins, lead guitarist Marty Stroo, lead vocalist Kaylee Knecht, rhythm guitarist Wanetta Stroo and bass guitarist Heidi Bender are dynamic hard-playing musicians who have for years been a pillar of the community’s music scene.
Redeye Empire’s music exudes all that is indicative of the West Coast lifestyle. The band’s blend of reggae, ska, rock and hip-hop has been blowing away fans across North America since their first show five years ago. Their laid-back attitudes, charisma and energetic stage presence has made them a favourite band locally in Revelstoke and they obviously enjoy it here as they keep coming back.
The Boom Booms are a Vancouver-based six-piece rock-pop band. Since their 2007 launch. The Boom Booms have built a loyal fan base that stretches across generations and continents.
The Werewolves of Creston are once again bringing their sound to the Challenge. Werewolves of Creston take familiar pop and rock classics and perform them deep-fried, coated with Ska/Funk. Yesterday’s hits, greased up, and mashed so far beyond cover band conventions, you’ll be singing along with bleary abandon.
