RSS girls hold their own in the Valley Championships
The RSS girls hosted the Valley Championships for the best single A teams in the Okanagan on Thursday and Friday.
Although the team from Kelowna’s Immaculata Catholic School won the tournament, our girls held their own and came in fifth out of a field of eight teams. The other teams were from Ashcroft, Keremeos, Osoyoos, Kelowna, Salmon Arm and Kamloops.
“The teams from Immaculata and Kelowna Christian have historically been real powerhouses,” coach Rory Luxmoore said.
