Cinco de Mayo!

A number of hot spots around town celebrated Cinco de Mayo, which is actually a Mexican national holiday that celebrates the victory of Mexican forces over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Celebrated in the US as a day honouring Mexican heritage, it's probably just an excuse to listen to good music, in this case the Fourth Street Jazz Project at the Last Drop, wear big Mexican hats and drink a lot of tequila and Corona.
