Ski Club kids performed brilliantly at Silver Star
Young skiers from the Revelstoke Ski Club performed brilliantly during races at Silver Star near Vernon last weekend. Young skiers from the Revelstoke Ski Club performed brilliantly during races at Silver Star near Vernon last weekend.
Karyn Molder, the mother of a couple of the youngsters, said, too, that this coming weekend’s race at Revelstoke Mountain Resort should be something to see.
E1, 5-8 year-olds, will ski on Saturday and the E2, 9-11 year-olds will ski on Sunday. The races start at 10am on the lower mountain within easy walking distance of Nelson Lodge.
“So far we have 139 kids coming from out of town,” she said in an e-mail to The Current. ” (We’re) still waiting on final numbers — could be around 180. Skiers from Apex, Mt. Baldy, Big White, Harper, Sun Peaks, Silver Star, Crystal Mtn and us!”
