There are presently many projects and meetings underway involving the planning department and public works: neighbourhood group meetings, Unified Development Bylaws, Transportation plan, Parks Recreation & Culture, Community Energy & Emissions Plan.
I have attended many of these meetings and I am grateful that the staff has given me the opportunity to provide my opinion and voice my concerns. I am pleased to say that they have listened and addressed some of the issues affecting my neighbourhood in central Revelstoke.
To the city staff, planning department and public works employees, thank you for your hard work and giving the citizens a chance to provide their input and ideas. In this open environment, all residents have an opportunity to help shape this city into a place that suits us all.
In these times of change and planning for the future, the city is listening, so get out there and make your feelings known.
