Local firefighters Jim Blake, Greg Byman, Louie Fuscaldo, Martin Greenwood and Dustin Williams have all received awards from three levels of government .
Mayor David Raven was on hand at the department’s fall dinner meeting on Sept. 22to present most of the plaques, framed certificates and medals to each of them.
He, Volunteer Executive President Blair Muldoon and Fire Chief Rob Girard all offered words of wisdom, shared some stories and congratulated each of them for their achievements.
“We as a department are extremely proud of the honored firefighters for their hard-earned accomplishments over the many years of service,” Girard said. “It certainly is a goal and benchmark we all can to aspire to.”
