Province Issues Questionnaire In Regards To How BC Will Vote

A lot of noise has been coming out of Victoria in regards to the proposed Proportional Representation system as a potential voting system for the future of voters in British Columbia.

The BC NDP Party have expressed their desire to implement this voting system while the BC Liberal Party is vehemently against it.

At the end of the day, it is up to the voters to decide which way voting for Members of the Legislative Assembly will be. A referendum will be held this fall asking voters to decide to either keep the current voting system- First Past the Post- or to Proportional Representation.

There is a questionnaire the Provincial Government has issued in order to help shape the referendum, including the ballot and different voting systems to be proposed.
