Carolyn Francis Chwyl died suddenly in her husband Brian’s arms on Christmas Day, December 25, 2017 at the age of 58 years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Revelstoke Community Centre on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor David Rodriquez and Pastor Cavin Chwyl officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society, Box 1150, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0, in memory of Carolyn.
Carolyn was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 21, 1959 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 2009. Her passion in life was her grandsons and all her family. Carolyn was very spiritual and devoted to her church and shared that with her friends and co-workers. She loved nature, birds and her garden. Carolyn also enjoyed baking, sewing and was a talented artist. She was a true friend to all who knew her.
Carolyn was predeceased by her father Stanley Blazosek and her sister Sharon Mucci. She is survived by her husband Brian of Revelstoke; two children: Cavin Chwyl of Armstrong and Conin (Landon) Erbenich of Revelstoke; two grandsons: Gabe Erbenich and Liam Erbenich; mother June Blazosek of Kelowna; siblings: Stanley (Wendy) Blazosek of Edmonton, Ginia Blazosek of Fort St. John, Micha Blazosek of Kelowna, Anna (Mark) Bilash of Terrace and Steven Blazosek of Kelowna as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
