The local RCMP detachment will be celebrating Police Week, May 15 – 19, by hosting an Open House and BBQ on Friday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the back parking lot of the detachment.
The Open House will consist of a display of our various pieces of equipment utilize to provide policing, including police cars and trucks, boat, sleds and bike patrol MTBs. We will have several displays and information pamphlets available.
The BBQ will be a fundraiser for the Revelstoke Food Bank. $5 will pay for a burger and a drink with all profits going to the Food Bank. Donations will also be accepted of both money and canned/dry goods.
