It was eerily warm on Friday as customers shopped for gifts during the annual Moonlight Madness shopping event. Business proprietors all reported steady sales as “small waves”of shoppers crisscrossed the downtown core.
As expected, many restaurants also appeared to do well as shoppers started their annual dose of retail therapy with a favourite meal.
