Anna Marie Isabelle Taron passed away unexpectedly at the Kelowna General Hospital on Monday, November 21st, 2016, the age of 66 years. There will be no formal funeral service by Anna’s own request. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of B.C., #201 – 635 Victoria Street, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 2B3, in memory of Anna.
Anna was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, on November 17, 1950, and moved to Revelstoke in 1973. She lived here until moving to Castlegar in September of this year. Anna was a valued Home Support Worker for many years in Revelstoke.
Anna was predeceased by her father in 1960, mother in 1986 and her long-time companion James Ferguson in 2000. She is survived by her spouse Larry Coley of Castlegar; two daughters: Leona (Ken) MacInnis of Kamloops and Leanna Hajnrych (Don Dubois) of Peachland, one son, Greg (Monique) Taron of Vernon; grandchildren: Courtney (Brad) Osipow of Calgary, Jordan Hajnrych of Peachland, Connor Hajnrych of Peachland, Even MacInnis of Kamloops and Cadence Taron of Vernon; one brother Donald (Marlene) Quail of Radium as well as numerous relatives in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
