Skyller Archer #245 and Seth Chevrier # 505 just finished the 2016 Canadian National Arenacross Tour this past weekend in Calgary. The series was five rounds which included venues in Sarnia and Barrie, Ontario, Penticton, and Calgary for a two-round double header.
Skyller competed in the Open Pro class riding his Yamaha 450 against top American and Canadian racers. He also competed in the Clash for Cash which is a 20-lap race with the opportunity for riders to win $25,000. A 10th place finish Saturday night in Calgary was a highlight for the first year Pro rider. Great work Skyller!
Seth raced his Yamaha 250 in the Junior Open and Junior Lites classes for the series. After a scary crash in Penticton he came back with a 10-win streak in Calgary . This accumulated enough points to put him in first place and become the Canadian National Champion in his class.
The guys will finish the 2016 season racing the Future West Arenacross series which wraps up at the end of November in Chilliwack. Then they are both off to California in March for a five-week rigorous training camp with world renowned motocross racer Ryan Hughes at the Rhyno Institute.
They are looking forward to big things for 2017 and wish to thank all their friends, family, and sponsors for all their help.
