Local actors and actresses! Don’t forget that this is audition weekend for Caught in the Net, the award-winning comedy about a taxi driver who keeps two separate families in different parts of London.
When John Smith’s teen-aged children — a girl from one family and a boy from the other accidentally meet on the Internet and plan to see each other in person — John’s already complicated life becomes absolutely crazy!
Can he manage to keep his double life a secret from his kids and his two wives? And how to keep the kids away from each other?
Auditions are on Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11, from 6 – 8 pm in the at the MacPherson Room at the Community Centre, 600 Campbell Avenue.
Auditions are for the following roles:
- One late teen aged +/- male;
- One late teen aged +/- female;
- Two female “Mom” roles 40 +/-;
- One male “Dad” role 40 +/-;
- One male “Accomplice” role 40 +/-; and
- One male “Grand Dad” role – age flexible.
Teen roles could be played by people in their early 20s who look younger. We do great things with hair, makeup and costumes!
