MLA Macdonald’s message to high school graduates

I want to wish this year’s graduating class all the best in the adventure that awaits them.

Every generation is provided with opportunities from those who came before them, and there are challenges as well that arise from the decisions made by earlier generations. But I know the young people I meet every day are ready to make the world an even better place.

Now, more than ever, young people have the opportunity to experience the greatest range of experiences, whether it is to travel, work, or study around the world, or to remain in our area and become an even fuller member of our community.

Enjoy these celebrations of your accomplishments, and remember to be thankful to all of those around who helped you get to where you are.

Congratulations and best wishes in the years to come.
