Warmer weather arrived early this year and plant growth is ahead of schedule. The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) is gearing up for another successful season and already tackling invasive plants throughout the region. Don’t get left behind in the action, learn how to recognize native and invasive plants in your garden, community green space and the environment.
What are some of the top invasive plants to look for in your garden? From house foundation-wrecking knotweed (known as ‘false bamboo’), to pond-destroying yellow flag iris, there are a number of invasive species you don’t want in your backyard.
