United Church had a full house at fundraiser for refugee family
More than 80 people enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner at a fundraiser for the community-sponsored refugee family Thursday night. According to United Church administrator and organizer Beth Campbell, supporting the family is “the Christian thing for us to do and it’s exciting to think of them joining our community.” As the food was donated by local businesses, all the proceeds went to the Revelstoke for Refugees fund.
