The Revelstoke Mueum & Archives’ monthly Brown Bag lectures are must-attend events for local history buffs. Curator Cathy English always brings the past to life and her January 12th lecture was no exception.
Focusing on our city as it was 100 years ago Cathy covers a lot of ground from the fires that periodically obliterated houses and commercial buildings to the young men whose lives were snuffed out on the battlefields of the First World War and on to Revelstoke’s early winter sports heroes.
Over the coming months The Current will produce regular video productions of this popular series of historical talks. Please activate the YouTube player below to watch this 50-minute presentation. I hope you enjoy it.
