Pack up the kids and head to the Revelstoke Railway Museum this Saturday as Christmas is coming early this year with a special trackside celebration for children.
The Children’s Trackside Christmas is to be held on Saturday, November 28, and carries a Polar Express theme.
A statement from the museum said that between 12:30 and 3 pm there will be special crafts, games, cookie decorating and a special visit from Santa, himself.
The whimsical annual party will also feature a scavenger and the Revelstoke Model Railroad Club’s fantastic model. Seasonal refreshments and other fun events will round out the afternoon and should appeal to kids of all ages.
Children are only $5 each and must be accompanied by an adult. Admission for adults is by donation.
