Of course! We get the first real snow fall of the year and Highway One is close in both directions — probably until at least 2 pm — because of an accident West of town. The photo shows the lineup of vehicles in Rogers Pass. The DriveBC online map of our region is lit up like a Christmas tree with every symbol imaginable. Fortunately for drivers, only the Trans-Canada and Highway 5 northbound are currently closed. Highway 5 North was closed due to “a material spill” at Larson Hill. There is no time given for its reopening.
