They’re back… After a fun-filled and hilarious performance in 2013 the Loose Moose Theatre Company returns to the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre featuring their unique brand of improvised comedy. Loose Moose offers a fast paced performance where comic scenes are created right before the audience eyes. Every show is entirely improvised, so each show is totally unique. No scripts, no problem!
The Loose Moose Theatre Company has been entertaining audiences for over 38 years, and for the past two years were voted Calgary’s best theatre in the annual FFWD readers poll. The Loose Moose Theatre Company has an international reputation for innovation and excellence in improvisational theatre. Keith Johnstone, Loose Moose co-founder and former artistic director, created and developed techniques for training and presenting improvisation that are now used worldwide. Loose Moose also acts as a training centre for individuals interested in improvisational theatre, and we are very proud of our many alumni that are now working in the areas of stage film, and television.
And the company is passing along its knowledge through the Free Loose Moose Improvisation Workshop. This event is open to people of all ages Saturday, October 17 from 3 pm to 5pm.
