The Revelstoke Awareness and Outreach Program (RAOP) is 10 years old this month and is planning a birthday party for September 30 from 1 pm until 3 pm.
Cake and refreshments will be served and interested members of the public are invited to stop by to help its members celebrate.
RAOP is located in the alley off First Street East beside the Regent. It was started as a program that would dispel myths about mental illness and help better integrate people with mental illnesses in the larger community. RAOP offers programs for its members and sponsors events that are open to members and the general public.
