Parents and kids — all of them dyed-in-the-wool Vancouver Canucks fans — thronged at Grizzly Plaza on Saturday afternoon to greet the team’s mascot, Fin. David F. Rooney photo The Canucks are, as everyone who isn’t living under a rock knows, locked in a Stanley Cup play-off battle with the Calgary Flames so a BCTV television camera crew accompanied Fin on a quick tour of several Interior communities to whip up some public support. Of all the video clips taken of fans in towns along the Trans-Canada from Vancouver to Golden, Revelstoke’s were by far the liveliest. Of course, The Current is somewhat biased.
