By Emily MacLeod and Amelie Delesalle, Student Reporters The top four spellers from each elementary school in Revelstoke battled it out in the gym at Columbia Park Elementary School on March 12. The participants included: Joe Bailey (CPE), Alyssa Bollefer (BVE), Jayke Coueffin (BVE), Amelie Delesalle (AHE), Samantha Flick (CPE), Kayln Gale (BVE), Nolan Gale (BVE), Mimi Kramer (AHE), Josh Larsen (AHE), Zoe Larsen (CPE), Maeve MacLeod (AHE), Kaytlynn New (CPE) Nolan Gale from Begbie View Elementary School made it to the top two, where things went back and forth for a while until he claimed first place from his sister Kayln Gale, also of Begbie View. These two spellers were truly amazing getting word after word correct. Third Place was claimed by Joe Baily, who also did an outstanding job.
