Our theme on Pink Shirt Day was not just anti-bullying, but the importance of respecting and celebrating our differences. We’ve been talking a lot all month about diversity, and how bullying cannot thrive in an atmosphere where everyone feels valued for their unique gifts.
The letters the students created spell “Free to be me at CPE!” The dance was a Metis jig, then the Grade 7 band played at the end. A very full, very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
