Spirit of the West, the legendary Celtic-revival band, packed the house at the kick-off of the 2014-2015 season at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, September 11.
The 275-seat theatre was sold out to a mixed-age, but mostly young, crowd who rapidly moved into the aisles to dance along with the Vancouver-based band.
This was a terrific start to the 2014/2015 season events planned for Revelstokians by the Revelstoke Arts Council. Please click here to see what other terrific events are coming up .
Here are some images from this event that I hope you’ll enjoy:
With just five minutes to go until showtime almost every seat in the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre was taken. Within three or four minutes of the time this photo was taken all of those empty seats were filled. It was an exciting and heartening start to the season. David F. Hugh McMillan (left), John Mann, Geoffrey Kelly, Vince Ditrich, Tobin Frank and Matthew Harder performed joyously for a very enthusiastic audience. David F. I’m not sure what happened here but it’s a kinda cool image. David F.
