Some time between its closing on Friday, September 5, and Sunday morning Helios Rehabilitation and Performance was broken into by thieves.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky said the thief or thieves “gained entry by physically damaging the building,” which is located at 1605 Victoria Road.
“An unknown quantity of cash was taken, however a portion has been recovered through two youths who located an envelope on a road nearby,” he said. “Currently the business is closed to secure the location for evidence as a thorough forensic investigation assessment will be conducted. It is hoped that evidence will be obtained through fingerprints which will identify those responsible.”
