S’mores galore 2014-06-27The BC Interior Forestry Museum’s new Friday Night Campfire was a flaming success on Friday, June 27, as people gathered to swap stories and look at Little Jim Hamilton’s albums of forestry photos from the 1980s. They also scoffed s’mores, swigged pop and, if they wanted a change of pace, could walk a few feet for a spectacular view of mega-tonnes of water being discharged from the Revelstoke Dam. Folks young and old — and all ages in between — are welcome to the museum’s campfire on Friday evenings between 6 pm and 9 pm. The museum is located three kilometres north of town on Highway 23N.
