The Revelstoke Glacier Challenge got underway Friday as out-of-towners converged on the city for the annual softball classic that brings together 140 teams from across the West.
Tents, campers, trailers and RVs of all sizes are jammed into the gravel parking spots along the Columbia River beside Centennial Park and local shops, restaurants and bars are braced for a booming business this BC Day weekend.
While most of the action on and off the ball fields starts on Saturday there were a few things going on. Here’s a selection of images from the day and the really excellent Blind Spot concert Friday evening.
