It’s time for the annual Revelstoke Home and Leisure Show. It’s big, it’s bad and it will give you great ideas for things to do with your home and your leisure life — if you have one. And, if nothing else, it will prove to be a fantastic way to spend part of your weekend.
Okay. So, it’s indoors at the Forum from 11-7 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday. Big deal. It has over 70 exhibitors and demonstrations, a climbing wall, face painting and more. You can also sign the anti-HST petition, meet MLA Norm Macdonald and talk about everything from home repairs to gardening with the in-town and out-of-town merchants participating in the show. Admission is free if you bring a donation to the food bank. That can be non-perishable food items or cash.
“This is probably our biggest single event of the year,” says Chamber Executive Director John Devitt.
Planning for the show starts months in advance and represents the business community’s best opportunity to show off and demonstrate new products and services to the general public.
