Usually I am enthusiastic to keep up with the local news but this is horrible!
I am shocked to read & hear about this. I have received numerous calls about it.
This is a tragic situation for not only the people involved, but the community and the impact it will have on snowmobiling & tourism. I also realize that life in a backcountry paradise playground has it’s dangers but it is something we never want to experience or hear about.
I have met so many people in Northern Alberta that speak so highly of what Revelstoke has to offer but they also know the dangers involved. My heart goes out to everyone involved & the community as a whole. I am at a loss for any other words except that my thoughts are with everyone.
