Each year many groups and Not-For-Profits apply for Grant-In-Aid in order to further along their plans that are to the betterment of the community.
The City has a relatively early deadline in February with a a secondary intake deadline at the end of May. The total amounts for both intakes is $25,000. Carry forward does not apply if the funds are not spent and their is a limit of $2,000 for any one applicant.
The Grant in Aid Committee reviewed 17 grant-in-aid applications at its meeting held on April 19, 2018. The total requested financial assistance was $24,043.25. The recommendations reflect the Committee’s determination. The recommended awards total $15,811, as follows:
