Barbara Diane Tessaro (Crouch) passed away at the Queen Victoria hospital on March 14th, 2018 at the age of 81 years.
Diane was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 8th, 1937 and grew up in Silverdale, B.C. She was trained as a hairdresser in Vancouver, B.C. and later met her husband Morris Tessaro and they moved to Revelstoke, B.C. in 1972. Diane then worked as the building supervisor at the federal building in Revelstoke for approximately 17 years. Diane was active in Revelstoke and enjoyed her time assisting with the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Revelstoke Senior’s Center. She loved her BC Lions Football team, playing whist, darts, bingo, bowling and cribbage.
Diane is predeceased by her husband, Morris Charles Tessaro in 2013. She is survived by her son, Stuart Tessaro (Chantel Ingram) of Burnaby, B.C. and her daughter, Jacqueline Schroeder (Jeff Schroeder) and grandchildren Jordan and Katie Schroeder of Cochrane, Alberta
The Celebration of Life will be held at the Revelstoke Senior’s Center on Sunday, May 20th from 1-4 pm.
