Brady Beruschi and the staff of the Best Western Plus were happy to donate a very generous $5000 towards the Farwell Splash Park that has been picking up steam over the past few months.
Farewell Park is the home of the classic wading pool that was a positive and healthy place to spend time for over 50 years. Since the wading pool was decommissioned and removed in 2013, the park is in need in a little love and this splash park is a great way to revitalize the memory filled park.
Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Jana Thompson told the Revelstoke Current “I think it is fantastic. It is an excellent opportunity for these travelling to stop here, and it is great for us in marketing terms.”
Salmon Arm has two splash parks within its core and both are steadily busy with Salmon Armers as we all visiting Revelstokians. This will now bring an opportunity for the kids of this community to make memories as those did in the past with the wading pool.
