UPDATE: The accident that took place earlier this morning 2km west of Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway, involving a transport truck and a logging truck has been cleared as of 8:00am.
The Highway is extremely icy and slick, drive with caution.
The Revelstoke Current received a phone call that a car accident has occurred this morning- Wednesday, January 10th roughly 2-3km west of Revelstoke and has stopped traffic.
The Francophone School attached to Arrow Heights Elementary- Ecole des Glaciers- stated on a phone call that the school bus that picks up the students is currently stuck behind the accident.
The Principal is asking for parents to consider an alternate method for children to get to school.
