Antonio (Tony) Morabito met Ila Mae Oelschlager on his 20th Birthday June 30, 1967 at a mutual friends house in Dwight, Illinois. Tony had been planning to go to Expo ’67 in Montreal with his friends from Illinois, when Ila Mae caught his eye and the rest is history.
The two wed on December 2, 1967. Tony wanted to move back to Revelstoke and brought Ila and baby Kerri into the world the following year. They have lived in Revelstoke together ever since raising Kerri (Rob Miskiman), Vittoria (Nelson Mendonca) and Joseph. They also have 6 grandchildren Derek and Donovan Miskiman, Isabella Mendonca, Domonic, Mikala and Blake Morabito.
