The Discovery Channel filmed along the Canadian Rockies over the past year for a series titled Rocky Mountain Railroad. This eight part series will take viewers on an action-packed journey to discover an extraordinary Canadian way if life, meeting everyone along the path from those living off the grid whose sole source of resupply is the rail to the hard working crews who work endlessly to keep these railroads running.
On Monday, December 11th a handful of the Canadian Pacific Railway employees who were off shift, had a chance to bring some family to the Roxy Theatre for a private sneak peak of the one-hour teaser spotlight. A little art imitating life for these men and women.
The series will not begin until the New Year, however, the 1-hour sneak peak will be on the Discovery Channel (711 With Telus/Optik) TONIGHT AT 7:00pm, 9:00pm and again at 2:00am for those night owls.
