Photographer Jason Portras loves his drone and frequently uses it to shoot otherwise-unobtainable video footage — like his new 3:09-minute opus of this blanket of smoke from BC’s wildfires, entitled Smoke on the Water.
Every summer we experience some smoke, but this year’s choking curtain was easily the worst we’ve seen since 2003.
