Gayle, beloved Wife, Mother and friend, passed away on July 1, 2017, at the age of 71 years.
After marrying Robert Dennis Dillon in 1964, Gayle and Dennis moved from Moose Jaw SK to Revelstoke, BC, where they raised their family. They then spent many memorable years in Burnaby, BC, before making their final trek to Calgary, Alberta.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband Dennis Dillon, her 2 children, Patricia McLaren and Rob Dillon (Lisa), her 4 beautiful granddaughters, Natasha Dillon (Joseph Hoover), Amanda Dillon, Kathryn McLaren and Jessica McLaren, her Brother Bev Swanson (Pat), Sister Marlene Minto (Ted) and many loved nieces and nephews.
Gayle was predeceased by her parents Kathleen and John, and her 2 sisters Donna Brewer (Wayne) and Gloria Broderick (Fred).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 1 pm at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE with a reception to follow at O’Dill’s Ranch 240061 186 Ave W, Priddis, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Cancer Research, or Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
In living memory of Gayle Dillon, a tree will be planted in Fish Creek Provincial Park by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes.
