MLA’s Revelstoke office to open in August

MLA Doug Clovechok has found a part-time constituency assistant to run his Revelstoke office and will soon officially announce its location and the hours it will be open.

The office will be officially opened in August, he said, adding that he is already handling constituents’ concerns about a number of issues. Constituents interested in contacting Clovechok can do so through his website.

Speaking during a video interview at Revelstoke Mountain Resort on Wednesday, July 12, he also talked about the almost 400 forest fires burning across the province.

He said that Cariboo Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett told him that British Columbians can best response to the first is by donating to the Red Cross. “Every dollar counts, so let’s show folks in the fire zones and shelters that Columbia River – Revelstoke cares about them,” Clovechok said.
